Everything Is Currently Pre-Order
All releases on this store are presently sold on a pre-order basis. That means your order will not be dispatched straight away — it is held and shipped so that it arrives on, or as close as possible to, the album's official release date. You are charged in full when you place the order.
The delivery timings below describe how long a parcel takes once it has been dispatched, and apply from the release date rather than from the day you order.
Pre-Order Items
- Payment: You will be charged in full at the time you place a pre-order.
- Dispatch: Pre-ordered items are not shipped immediately. They are held and shipped out to arrive on, or as close as possible to, the official release date.
- Estimated dates: The expected release/ship date is shown on the product page. These dates are provided by our suppliers/labels and are estimates — they can change without notice due to circumstances outside our control (manufacturing, pressing, or supply delays).
- Mixed orders: If you order in-stock items together with a pre-order item in the same order, the entire order will usually be held and shipped together once the pre-order item is released, unless you contact us to request separate shipments (additional shipping charges may apply for split orders).
- Updates: We will email you if a pre-order's release date changes materially or if the item is cancelled by the supplier.
Delivery Times
Once an order has been dispatched, standard shipping typically takes 3–5 business days within the UK, and 7–14 business days for international orders. These timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.
Where an item is held in stock rather than sold as a pre-order, please allow 1–3 business days for processing before dispatch. Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout, and are shown at checkout.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, order weight/size, and selected shipping speed. Any applicable free-shipping thresholds will be displayed at checkout or via promotional banners on the site.
Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information (where available for your selected shipping method).
Customs and Import Duties (International Orders)
For orders shipped outside the UK, you may be responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees charged by your country. These are outside our control and are not included in the order or shipping total. Please check with your local customs office for more information before ordering.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
If your order hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us at hello@uncommonsensemusic.co with your order number so we can investigate with the courier.
Incorrect Address
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delayed or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If you spot an error shortly after ordering, contact us immediately and we'll do our best to amend it before dispatch.
