These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from us. By placing an order or browsing our site, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.

UNCOMMON SENSE. is a music label and online store based in Liverpool, United Kingdom, and a company registered in England and Wales. Our full company details are set out at the end of these Terms.
2. Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer to buy. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. A contract between us is only formed once we send you a confirmation email that your order has been dispatched (or, for pre-orders, once we confirm the order has been accepted).
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed. Payment is taken in full at the time of order, including for pre-order items (see our Shipping Policy for pre-order dispatch timing).
We use Shopify's secure payment processing. We do not store your full card details.
4. Product Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings. We do not guarantee that any product will be available, and we reserve the right to discontinue or limit quantities of any product without notice.
5. Pre-Orders
Our releases are currently sold on a pre-order basis, ahead of their official release date. By placing a pre-order:
- You will be charged in full at the time you place the order.
- Your item will be shipped on or around the official release date, not immediately. Estimated release/ship dates are shown on the product page but are subject to change due to factors outside our control (e.g. supplier or manufacturing delays).
- If a pre-order is significantly delayed or cancelled, we will notify you by email and you will be entitled to a full refund of that pre-order, notwithstanding our general no-refunds policy below, since the item was never dispatched.
6. Shipping and Returns
Shipping timelines and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Our approach to returns, exchanges, and faulty goods is set out in our Returns Policy. Both are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including logos, product photography, text, and design — is owned by or licensed to UNCOMMON SENSE. and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
9. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection law. See our Returns Policy for details on faulty or misdescribed goods.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
